Dell accepts Bitcoin payments

Monday 21 July 2014 10:56 CET | News

US-based computer technology company Dell has teamed up with Bitcoin payment processor Coinbase to start accepting the digital currency as payment method for online purchases.

Once the customers have placed all the products they want to buy into the cart, they will find a new payment option called Bitcoin. They will be then directed to Coinbase.com to complete the purchase. At the moment, this mode of payment is only limited to people living in US, with intentions from the company for international expansion.

In recent news, PayFast, a South African payment processor, has begun offering Bitcoin as a payment option for more than 30,000 merchant customers, wsj.com reports.
