Dubai Islamic Bank and Dubai eGovernment team up to offer online payment service

Financial services provider Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) and Dubai eGovernment have teamed up to provide customers with an online payment service, online media outlet albawaba.com reports.

As part of the agreement, DIB customers will be able to make payments for a range of eGovernment services via the Al Islami online banking service. Customers can use the Al Islami online banking service to carry out payment transactions for more than 20 government entities, including Dubai Municipality, Department of Economic Development, DEWA, RTA for traffic and parking fines, Dubai Health Authority and Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Al Islami online banking service provides customers with fund transfers, bill payments (utility bills, credit card bills and airline tickets), account related transactions, card related transactions and electronic banking channels.
