eMechantPay Group, a global provider of online payment processing services to merchants worldwide, has opened its US office in Boca Raton, Florida via its US subsidiary eMerchantPay.

In addition, the company has also appointed Garima Shah as director of US sales and Karl Persaud as director of business development. Shah has previously worked as SVP of Indirect Sales for Century Payments, as Vice President of Business Development for Merchant Processing Services (MPS), now part of New Edge Payments. She also was a Regional Vice President for Payment Alliance International.

Persaud will be in charge with developing ISO and agent reseller relationships throughout the US and he is also a former employee of Payment Alliance International, where he served in a number of sales management and business development roles over the years.

The newly launched office is aimed at managing sales, sales support and merchant support operations.

eMerchantPay enables small and medium sized online merchants to become global merchants. As a result, consumers will be able to shop and buy in their own language and currency, while merchants can settle transactions and receive funds in their preferred currency.

eMerchantPay provides payment processing in multiple local payment methods with online payment processing and settlement available in over 40 worldwide currencies.
