eWise, Jwaala roll out online payment alternative for credit union members

Thursday 18 August 2011 13:34 CET | News

Online banking services provider Jwaala has joined forces with payment services provider eWise to offer a new online payment alternative for credit union members, merchants and billers.

Under the terms of the deal, Jwaala’s Better Online Banking platform (BOB) now integrates the Secure Vault Payments solution, enabling users to make payments to online merchants and billers via ACH transactions.

Secure Vault Payments is an online payment network developed by NACHA — The Electronic Payments Association and eWise. Using the payment method, consumers select the SVP payment option on a merchant’s website and they are directed to their online banking site where they sign in and make the payment.

According to a recent partnership between Jwaala and eWise, Utah based Mountain America Credit Union has been live with Jwaala’s Better Online Banking platform since May. The SVP payment option will be available to all financial institutions implementing Jwaala’s Better Online Banking platform.
