Following the agreement, users will be able to make online payments directly through FreeAgent. In addition, the integration enables users to get paid directly from their customers’ bank accounts without the need to set up a merchant account to handle the transaction or pay any credit card fees. After setting up with GoCardless, FreeAgent customers can take direct debits from their clients’ bank accounts.
In recent news, GoCardless has launched the PayLinks service which enables any business or person to collect one-off, regular and pre-authorised payments online via a shareable link.
