Globe Telecom, Multiply join forces for online payment settlement

Monday 15 February 2010 09:51 CET | News

Philippines-based telecommunications company Globe Telecom, via its unit G-Xchange (GXI), has entered an agreement with the internet social networking site Multiply for online payment settlement.

The service is aimed at nearly 5 million Multiply subscribers who may be in need of an alternative payment service to upgrade their own Multiply accounts or those of their relatives and friends. This is made possible via GXI’s micro payment service dubbed GCASH. With this service, Globe and TM subscribers can send and receive cash electronically as well as purchase items and make payments. In order to pay with GCASH, Multiply members need to click the Pay with GCASH button and enter their GCASH mobile number.

Multiply is a social website built around digital content sharing which enables users to get their own pages where they can add all their favourite personal digital content including videos, music, calendars and blogs.
