Google updates online payments with Google Pay

Monday 8 July 2019 14:25 CET | News

Google has updated online payments with Google Pay, allowing users who want to pay from Google Chrome to no longer need to have the Google sync option turned on.

Due to this simplification, the access to autofill for payments only requires users to sign into their Google Account while using a desktop. This process no longer requires users to sync their payment information between browsers on different platforms.

While synchronisation of other information is not needed as the feature only deals with Google Pay information saved in the Google Account, users, however, need to enter their card’s CVC code to complete a transaction. As soon as the payment is processed, a confirmation email from Google Pay is sent to the inbox with all relevant details.

In addition, this update also offers allows users to manage their credit and debit card linked with their Google Account under the Account settings.
