As part of the agreement, Acculynk’s PaySecure software is set to enable customers to make online purchases via their debit card and bank-issued PIN, enabling Heartland’s merchants to reduce fraud and charge-backs. PaySecure allows customers to enter their PINs directly in the checkout process without being redirected to another site or needing to enroll in a program.
The software supports a graphical PIN-pad which allows the entry of the consumer’s PIN. When initiating transactions, PaySecure uses the merchant’s existing payment processor connections. Heartland’s merchants will be able to use PaySecure in Q2 2011.
In recent news, the US electronic commerce and payment processing company First Data has selected Acculynk for its PaySecure Internet PIN debit service.
