PlaySpan, a Visa company and a monetisation services company, has entered an agreement with global online games company Idea Fabrik to use PlaySpan’s monetization product, UltimatePay.

Under the terms of the deal, Idea Fabrik will integrate UltimatePay with its online game development platform HeroCloud, enabling microtransactions and subscriptions billing support to over 7,000 developer teams on the HeroCloud service.

UltimatePay provides more than 100 global payment methods in 180 countries and will allow Idea Fabrik to scale the monetization platform for the HeroCloud service while accessing risk management, fraud prevention, and analytics tools to help increase conversion and user satisfaction.

UltimatePay will be integrated with the cloud-hosted version of HeroEngine, HeroCloud, a low-cost subscription plus royalty based platform for building, operating and publishing any online game and includes full access to HeroEngine, the premier game development platform for online games trusted by triple A studios such as EA and Zenimax, as well as integrated billing solution and monetization product suite (via PlaySpan), hosting, bandwidth and numerous publishing options and features such as executable clients, web-based browsers, and ability to stream content.
