Under the terms of the deal, Rapleaf will upgrade IdentityMind eDNA with data about an internet identity’s email address. As a result, online merchants and PSPs will gain access to an integrated email validation as part of IdentityMind’s anti-fraud service. Fraud analysts can either automatically or manually access Rapleaf’s email verification database within the context of transaction analysis for anti-fraud or while assessing the risk of underwriting an individual, all integrated into IdentityMind’s analysis user interface. Additionally, analysts can incorporate the specifics of email verification as part of their anti-fraud filters, along with all the other fraud indicators available within the IdentityMind’s Antifraud Platform.
During 2011, IdentityMind has enabled close partners to develop their own antifraud services based on the antifraud platform, proving fraud detection capabilities. The platform is currently collecting and tracking the payment behavior of more than 40 million internet identities.
