Intuit rolls out mobile, online card acceptance pilot in the UK

Monday 3 December 2012 08:53 CET | News

US provider of business and financial management services Intuit has launched a pilot programme in the UK, allowing small businesses to accept card payments.

Intuit Pay is currently being trialled by a number of UK small businesses and includes a mobile app as well as a chip and PIN card reader. Businesses in the pilot can use Intuit Pay to accept credit or debit card payments in two ways: in person using a smartphone or tablet, a mobile app and the Intuit Pay chip and PIN card reader; or else from home or the office, by processing credit and debit card payments instantly online from a computer.

In recent news, US-based provider of supply chain management software HighJump Software has enabled its TrueCommerce EDI service to support the 2013 versions of Intuit’s QuickBooks Pro, Premier and Enterprise.
