iYogi, a global technology support provider, has signed an agreement with Verizon, a broadband and telecommunications company, to integrate its security services with its network and online payment system.

Under the terms of the partnership, Verizon will provide iYogi with a range of security services including compliance to PCI DSS and ISO/IEC 27002, vulnerability assessment services and investigative response services, which allows iYogi to receive notifications of potential security threats, vulnerabilities and mitigation of risks to iYogi. In addition, Verizon will also help iYogi reduce the risk of potential customer service interruption.

Verizon provides a series of security services including governance, risk and compliance solutions, data loss and prevention services and identity management services.

In recent news, Verizon has teamed up with US mobile commerce platform provider ROAM Data to make available the company’s ROAMpay swipe product.
