Jelly Belly selects Acculynk's PaySecure online PIN debit service

Thursday 10 December 2009 | 07:09 AM CET

Jelly Belly has joined US payment services provider Acculynk’s list of online merchants, enabling online customers who select the latter\'s internet PIN debit service PaySecure to pay with their debit card and PIN at the merchant checkout.

When paying with PaySecure , customers must enter their card number, expiration date and card verification number. After they submit the card information, PaySecure detects whether the card can be used with a PIN. If it can, Acculynk's graphical PIN-pad appears at the merchant checkout, allowing the customers to enter their PIN. The PIN pad numbers appear on the purchaser’s computer monitor randomly and the numbers will re-arrange each time the cardholder clicks on a digit of the PIN.

Other online merchants which have already added PaySecure to their payment methods list include 2Checkout.com, Ace Hardware Outlet, AirTran, J.J. Buckley and ShoppersChoice. The company has partnered 6 EFT networks to date: Alaska Option, Accel/Exchange, a subsidiary of information management and electronic commerce systems developer Fiserv, Credit Union 24, NYCE, PULSE and SHAZAM.
