Maestro International launch by XS Software on GlobalCollect payment platform witnesses 9% revenue growth

With the integration of Maestro, GlobalCollect has enabled XS Software to gain access to a market of 60 percent of debit card holders who are ready to use their Maestro card for online payments.

Since April 2011, XS Software has started processing Maestro in Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania and Spain. Compared to April and May, statistics indicated that the integration of Maestro has determined a 9,13 percent growth in this month’s sales revenue of XS Software and a 10.07 percent increase of the number of transactions with both credit and debit card payments in these Euro markets.

According to Nathan Salisbury, Global Market Director Gaming of GlobalCollect: “By implementing Maestro International for XS Software, GlobalCollect has helped to increase sales by giving access to a growing number of eCommerce enabled debit cards across Europe. We are able to provide access to previously untapped markets and demographics because of our portfolio of products and consultative approach. We expect the same trends in the next six months for XS Software, especially in Eastern Europe. By then we expect more youngsters are aware that they are able to pay online with their Maestro Card”.
