Matomy, a Israeli provider of alternative payment methods for online games, applications and MMOs, has announced plans to launch a web-based and customizable widget which will enable online games, social network applications, publishers and marketers to proactively engage with players.

Engage Bar has been developed as a virtual payment solution for social network applications and games to generate increased offer conversions. The Engage Bar is fully customizable in terms of shape, size and colours. It appears within an online game and can be timed to make an offer to buy virtual currency at the point when the user is just about to run out of it.

Matomy has also announced an investment of USD 1 million by Ilan Shiloah and Nir Tarlovsky. Shiloah is chairman of McCann Worldgroup, Israel, and a member of the board of McCann Erickson, Europe.
