The new card was developed by MercadoLibre, MasterCard and Bansi. The card enables users to make online payments in those stores who accept MasterCard. MercadoPagos card can be recharged via a bank deposit, an electronic transfer as well as with cash through 7-Eleven.
MercadoPago is present in 6 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela.
