ModusLink Global Solutions expands global e-business payment solution by adding Citibank Japan, Alipay and PayPal

ModusLink Global Solutions, a US-based company which designs and executes value chain strategies, has expanded its payment services options by adding Citibank Japan, Alipay and PayPal.

With the newly-added payment services, ModusLink’s customers will be able to streamline cross-border payments. The addition of Citibank Japan and Alipay as integrated payment providers for ModusLinks e-commerce solution and expansion of PayPal services globally, broadens the number of consumers to which clients can sell their products online.

Alipay, Chinas largest online payment network, has more than 600 million registered accounts and facilitates approximately 11 million transactions per day as of October 2011.
Citibank Japan has two business divisions: the Retail Banking division, which provides banking services to a wide range of retail customers and the Corporate Banking division, which is focused on institutional clients.

Citibank Japans in country Retail Banking division hosts a network of 32 branches and sub-branches, two call centres and a new internet banking platform.

PayPal registers more than 100 million users in 190 markets with 25 different currencies.

ModusLinks e-Business suite of solutions provides brand owners and retailers a set of integrated services which range from e-commerce and financial management to a full suite of marketing and loyalty, customer care, fulfilment, entitlement management and returns processes.
