Under the terms of the deal, CenPOS has integrated Moneris’ payment processing function into its cloud-based omni-channel payment platform to transform the payment processing experience for businesses that sell to other businesses (B2B). The partnership gives companies in the US and Canada an enterprise-class solution and allows them to use a single payment processor in both countries.
In addition to payment processing, CenPOS consolidates data from payments received through all business channels—face-to-face, online, mobile and electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP)—into an enterprise data analytics platform. B2B companies can manage this data and identify opportunities and threats that impact their bottom line.
Moneris provides credit, debit, wireless and online payment services via more than 350,000 merchant locations and processes over 2 billion transactions annually. Via its Ernex division, Moneris offers electronic loyalty and gift card programs.
