Neovia upgrades merchant services business

Monday 26 April 2010 11:39 CET | News

UK online payment services provider Neovia Financial has upgraded its merchant services business with a new card acquiring bureau service.

The new service enables merchants to directly accept and settle MasterCard and Visa card payments via Neovia`s Netbanx service without having to manage an additional bank direct acquiring relationship. The bureau service is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and provides additional payment support for global processing of American Express, PayPal, Neteller, Ukash, and direct-from-bank payments such as iDEAL, Giropay, and Direct Debit, as well as multicurrency processing and settlement support with multi-lingual checkout pages.

The Neteller e-wallet, the Net+ cards and the Netbanx international payments gateway which allows merchants to accept card and non-card payments via multiple channels are part of the company`s payment suite. Most recently, Neovia partnered SeeSaw, an online TV service, to provide the latter with payment methods for premium content.
