Therefore, Petit Press will incorporate Slovakia’s largest regional publication, the daily newspaper Korzar, covering eastern Slovakia. Spolocnost 7 Plus brings plus7dni, Slovakias most widely read weekly magazine and their daily newspaper Plus 1 Den along with their website Pluska, to Piano. Furthermore, the Rock joins Piano with the Slovak Spectator, Bratislavas English-language weekly, access to the latest PDF version of their paper and the Spectators archives.
The new websites will be available to Pianos Slovak subscribers from 6 February 2012. With the addition of these new publishers, Piano’s Slovak system includes now 12 publishing houses with more than 50 different websites and services.
In recent news, Piano Media has launched a second national paywall in Slovenia which comprises nine major Slovene publishers including almost all of the major daily newspapers with 11 online media websites. Slovenia’s digital readers will pay EUR 4.89 per month to access the content behind Piano’s paywall. Publishers choose what content will be put behind the paywall and what benefits digital readers will receive. Some will provide ad-free versions of their websites, while others will offer premium access to their content before it is released to the public later in the day.
