UK-based online payment services provider Optimal Payments has entered a strategic alliance to provide the NETELLER eWallet to Payline, the payment platform developed and operated in France by Monext.

Under the terms of the deal, NETELLER eWallet will become a new payment provider to existing Payline clients such as Amazon.fr. The eWallet allows consumers to pay for goods and services over the internet in a range of industries. Since its launch in 1999, millions of consumers in over 200 countries have used the NETELLER eWallet payment service to transfer money around the world.

The eWallet provides instant transfers, support for 19 currencies and 13 languages, marketing and loyalty programs, stringent identity, age and Know Your Customer processes and low FX rates.

Payline is an online payment solution aimed at players in the e-commerce and mobile commerce fields. The solution is now used by 6,000 e-tailers in France and across Europe to process almost 200 million payments each year.

Optimal Payments provides credit-debit card and e-check (Direct Debit) services to retail/point of sale, internet, and mail-order/telephone-order (MOTO) to merchants in Canada, the US, Europe and the Caribbean.

In recent news, Optimal Payments has entered an agreement with Bally Technologies, a provider of networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry, to provide payments and related services to Bally and its online gaming customers.
