Monday 15 October 2012 14:59 CET | News

Financial institution PNC Bank and Visa have entered an agreement to make V.me by Visa available to more than 1.2 million PNC Virtual Wallet customer accounts, with a commitment to make V.me available to more than 6.3 million accounts in 2013.

In addition to PNC Visa cards, consumers will also be able to enroll their other US issued payment cards via the V.me website and make online purchases at participating merchants by entering a username and password.

Registered users can make online payments to participating merchants without having to enter card account number, bill-to and ship-to information. V.me stores personal account information behind layers of security within Visas network.

PNC’s Virtual Wallet is an online and mobile money management tool, which provides customers with a visual way to manage their finances and monitor everyday saving and spending.
