As part of the collaboration, US PrestaShop merchants will gain access to First Data’s preferred services such as personalized support, transactions and more payment options. Merchants can access First Data’s features built-in PrestaShop v.1.5. With more than 40 years of payment processing experience, First Data will provide PrestaShop users with a payment processing solution for their e-commerce business.
PrestaShop is an open-source web-based application for e-commerce, which is currently integrated in more than 150 000 online shops in 150 countries.
In recent news, financial institution Mutual of Omaha Bank has collaborated with First Data to provide merchants and small businesses with Pogo>, a mobile payment solution that enables credit, signature debit and cash acceptance anywhere in the US.
