ProPay to offer ACH data encryption and tokenization services

Tuesday 11 May 2010 11:59 CET | News

ProPay, a US-based provider of credit card processing and electronic payment services, has added encryption and tokenization of Automated Clearing House (ACH) data to its existing ProtectPay suite of products.

ProPay’s ACH encryption service is set to capture, encrypt and process the ACH data, replacing it afterwards with a token which organizations can use for future transactions against the data. Subsequently, customer organizations can protect sensitive ACH payment data when storing, transmitting, or processing transactions.

ProPay’s ACH encryption and tokenization services can be used to collect payments and disburse funds via the ACH network. In addition, organizations can use ProPay’s online interface, batch file processing, or Application Programming Interface (API).
