Qiwi, Sysnet - winners of the Florin Awards at EPCA 2012

The Paypers is proud to announce the winners of the 2012 Florin Transaction Services Innovation Awards at the 11th edition of the international EPCA Payment Summit, which took place in Rome, under the heading “Rethinking Transactions - Fostering Europe’s digital agenda”.

Qiwi, a Russian electronic payment systems provider and Sysnet Global Solutions, a provider of payment card industry compliance services, have been awarded for their work towards achieving excellence.

The three beautifully hand-crafted Florin trophies have been handed over to their winners during a ceremony led by EPCA chairman Gérard de Moura. The winners were announced by Jury members present at the Summit and each winner was allowed to give a short ‘thank you’ speech.

The Florins were created in 2010 to stimulate innovation in the transaction services industry by providing the nominees and the winners with substantial benefits to assist the promotion of their innovative products. 

The European Payments Consulting Association (EPCA) is a pan-European association of independent national consultancies, each of which has expertise in payment systems and payment products. The group works with most of the leading players in payments. EPCA has members based in Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Poland and the Netherlands.
