In order to activate the newly introduced service, customers need to create a WebCare account on the Cosmote website. The service enables transactions up to RON 5,000 and allows Romanian residents as well as business customers to pay current invoices or bills in advance. In addition, users can pay the invoice for another Cosmote subscriber. Also, prepaid accounts can be recharged with EUR 5 to EUR 100 for each transaction.

Cosmote Romania customers who will use the WebCare account can also activate the electronic bill to replace the paper invoice with the electronic format. The e-bill has the same fiscal value as a hard-copy invoice as a result of the embedded electronic signature with the time stamp provided by DigiSign and to the barcode which contains the same information as a printed bill.
