Payment processor Sage Payment Solutions, a division of Sage North America, has added new capabilities to its internet-based, PCI-compliant payment processing business device Sage Virtual Terminal.

Sage Virtual Terminal now includes additional offerings such as a recurring billing service and an integrated donation service for non-profit and charitable organisations. Furthermore, Sage Virtual Terminal offers a new Quick Actions Section on the home page to enable small and mid-sized businesses SMBs to process payments. A business is able to perform a transaction by using the customer’s name and credit card information, as well as search by name, account number, order number, amount, reference, or approval code. The product also includes a shopping cart which integrates with the merchants website.

Other features include receipts based on pre-defined templates, an overview of transaction history and payment type, new export options for reports and new import options for shopping cart products.

Sage Virtual Terminal enables credit and debit card and check processing as well as USB-connected card swipe capabilities to allow businesses to process transactions. Sage Virtual Terminal is aimed at more than 155,000 small and mid-sized businesses and organisations.
