Salmon selects CyberSource for online payment services

UK e-commerce services developer Salmon has signed a contract with CyberSource Ltd, the UK unit of electronic payment services provider CyberSource to incorporate the latters payment and fraud management technology into Salmons Application Framework for eCommerce (SAFE), a series of pre-configured and customisable e-commerce components.

The initiative is meant to provide Salmons customers with access to a suite of CyberSource services, including payment processing, payer authentication and fraud management. The companys fraud management portal Decision Manager includes a business-user rule management console and access to over 150 global validation tests and services.

CyberSource also provides support for the Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard SecureCode (MCSC) authentication systems. CyberSource payment services include CyberSource Advanced which allows merchants to accept payments made via credit or charge cards, as well as to accept payment by corporate procurement cards, electronic checks, PayPal Express Checkout, and the Bill Me Later service. Other services include Decision Manager and Authorize.Net, the latter enabling merchants to authorise, settle and manage credit card and electronic check payments via online platforms, retail stores, mail order/telephone order call centres and mobile devices.
