Under the terms of the deal, Kalixa is set to acquire and process Sisal’s payments on its integrated platform.
Kalixa is set to provide Sisal with a number of capabilities including:• Payments acceptance - this includes deposit payment methods such as PayPal and Paysafecard, commonly used by online gamers;• Market risk management - Kalixa is set to assist Sisal to meet the gaming industry’s compliance requirements, minimise risk and enhance security;• Card withdrawals - players can move funds from their gaming accounts to their Visa, MasterCard or PayPal wallet;
Sisal operates an array of gaming services including lottery, betting and online, as well as a number of consumer payment offerings through its network of terminals.
In 2012, Kalixa Group has processed transactions worth EUR 2.6 billion for more than 300 merchants and supports 200 payment methods. Kalixa prepaid card has more than 150,000 users across Europe.
In recent news, Kalixa Group has expanded its European presence by launching the Kalixa Pay prepaid card in Austria.
