Sonic Electronix partners Mazooma for online debit payments

US internet retailer Sonic Electronix has signed a contract with US online debit payment services provider Mazooma.

Under the terms of the agreement, Sonic is to provide a bank-authenticated debit payment service for its US consumers. In order to pay via Mazooma, consumers must select this option on the merchant’s checkout page, choose their bank from a drop-down menu, enter the online banking user name and password. They will be presented with the amount of money that must be paid as well as an approval button.

Sonic Electronix carries over 7,500 car stereo and other consumer electronics products.
