Spindle adds e-commerce to its processing platform

Wednesday 11 September 2013 13:12 CET | News

Spindle, a provider of mobile commerce and alternative payment services for businesses and consumers, has expanded its payment processing services to include the immediate boarding of e-commerce merchants.

As a result, Spindles payment service provider (PSP) platform is able to accept online payments in addition to mobile payments through credit card swipe. The e-commerce functionality is incorporated into Spindles mobile marketing and payments platform, which enables a series of integrated location-based marketing services, including customer acquisition content and retention-oriented loyalty programs that are customizable by the merchant.

The addition of e-commerce to its PSP offering extends Spindles POS and mobile marketing services to a new audience, potentially increasing the companys customer base as it delivers its integrated payments platform to web-based merchants. Spindles e-commerce service will be marketed through the companys existing network of reseller agents, which include merchant acquirers, independent sales agents (ISOs) and financial institutions.

In recent news, Spindle has partnered with Canadian e-commerce and m-commerce services provider AnywhereCommerce.
