Stacks and Stacks selects Mazooma online debit payment method

Thursday 21 October 2010 11:21 CET | News

US online retailer Stacks and Stacks has inked an agreement with US online debit payment services provider Mazooma.

Under the terms of the contract, Mazooma is expected to provide Stacks and Stacks customers with the ability to purchase items directly from their online bank account, instead of using a credit card. In addition, Mazooma is bank-authenticated, a capability that enables Stacks and Stacks to receive instant payment notifications.

Stacks and Stacks is enabling the Mazooma payment option via Cardinal Centinel, a technology platform developed by US payment services provider CardinalCommerce, which enables alternative payment brands in both e-commerce and m-commerce. When paying with Mazooma, consumers must select this option on the merchant’s checkout page, choose their bank from a drop-down menu, enter the online banking user name and password. They will be presented with the amount of money that must be paid as well as an approval button.
