Swisscom offers carrier billing for all goods bought online

Swisscom, a telco operator, has released a payment service whereby customers can now now buy physical goods online and pay for them from their phone bill.

Docomo Digital, the European-based operation unit of NTT Docomo, provided the API integration with Direct Carrier Billing (EasyPay).

The first retailer to use the system will be MediaShop Group, a TV and online merchant based in Austria.
