Friday 12 February 2010 11:05 CET | News

Taiwan’s e-commerce trade portal Taiwantrade has entered an agreement with PayPal to provide online electronic transaction services to Taiwantrade’s domestic paid members, starting from March 2010.

Shoppers based in other countries will be able to buy sample products from the Taiwanese manufacturers and pay via the PayPal payment system. With PayPal, buyers can choose among a variety of payment options, including credit card, debit card and bank account transfer. The alliance is expected to bring a 14 percent increase in sales value for Taiwan’s small and medium enterprises.
