TapJoy brings ad-funded payment options to over 10,000 apps

US-based content monetization platform TapJoy has partnered iOS and Android application developers to help bring ad-funded payment options to more than 10,000 applications.

OMGPOP, Moblyng, Craneballs Studios, Game Circus and Spry Fox are among the developers recently integrating Tapjoy into their applications. Tapjoys advertising platform enables consumers to earn in-app virtual goods or currency in exchange for completing various tasks including installing applications, watching videos, signing up for targeted services or participating in other ads from trusted brands and app developers.

Tapjoy delivers over 1 million ad completions every day for app developers and brand advertisers. The Tapjoy ad marketplace spans over 10,000 applications and 250 million global consumers on iOS, Android and emerging mobile platforms. Tapjoy is backed by top-tier investors including J.P.Morgan Asset Management, Rho Ventures, North Bridge Venture Partners, InterWest Partners and D.E. Shaw Ventures. Most recently, Tapjoy has raised USD 30 million in Series D funding from the financial services firm JP Morgan Chase.
