The Warehouse, a New Zealand-based online retailer has entered a partnership with Australian online payment services provider Centricom.

Under the terms of the agreement, The Warehouse will be authorized to access POLi, Centricom’s online payment platform, in order to provide its online shoppers with online debit payment services. The POLi system supports a range of online payment options, allowing users to make fund transfers directly between a customer’s internet bank account and that of a merchant. Furthermore, once the payment transaction has been completed, both parties will receive an instant notification.

Founded in 2004, Centricom activates in Australia, New Zealand as well as the UK. In August 2007, UK online payment services provider Neovia Financial acquired a 25 percent strategic stake in Centricom.
