Wednesday 30 September 2009 11:05 CET | News

US online retailer TheShoeMart.com has added Cred-Ex to its online payment methods list.

TheShoeMart.com will enable the Cred-Ex option through CardinalCommerces payment platform Cardinal Centinel. The latter is a software authentication platform that enables merchants and merchant service providers to use payment brands such as Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode, Amazon Payments, Bill Me Later, Ebates, eBillme, eLayaway, Google Checkout, Green Dot MoneyPak, Mazooma, MyECheck, NACHA Secure Vault Payments, PayPal, RevolutionCard and Ukash.

In order to use Cred-Ex to carry out payments online at participating merchants, consumers open a Cred-Ex account by providing Cred-Ex with the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number. Web shoppers who choose to pay with Cred-Ex must enter their Cred-Ex I.D. number and their e-mail address during the online checkout process.
