TippingCircle launches personal payments system

Friday 8 February 2013 10:11 CET | News

TippingCircle, a technology start-up, has launched a personal payments service which allows its users to send, request and share payments with friends at home or on the go, setup group payments for events and run social fundraisers.

Group payments and social fundraisers can be achieved using tipping buckets. These buckets can be shared through Facebook, Twitter and other social networks to collect payments for birthdays, weddings, sports clubs and other events. Social fundraisers are helping people pay for medical bills, contribute to local non-profits and support other causes.

Personal payment systems are quickly growing in popularity as people look for simple ways to send money to their friends online. All payments are processed through PayPal. In addition to PayPal, TippingCircle uses encryption, monitors fraudulent behavior and each user has a 4-digit PIN that is required when a tip is sent.

TippingCircle provides convenient applications both mobile and desktop, which enables people to make personal payments.
