Payment network UATP has entered a partnership with Netherlands-based payment services provider GlobalCollect, as a hotel acquirer.

Under the terms of the alliance, GlobalCollect will open a range of hotels to the UATP Network. The company’s premier payment platform WebCollect accepts more than 170 currencies and over 150 payment methods, allowing corporations to use their preferred UATP account for hotels. The GlobalCollect and UATP integration will continue to support folio level data supplied to cardholders for travel management. Cardholders will have access to more data for purchased travel and hotel stays.

UATP provides an alternative to other card schemes to purchase corporate travel. Almost 260 airlines and thousands of travel agencies accept UATP as a means of payment for tickets, service and administration fees and net flight prices. The cards are used in more than 105 countries around the world.

GlobalCollect’s payment platform processes consumer transactions in more than 170 different countries using local currencies and supports more than 150 different payment methods. GlobalCollect provides e-payment services for international customer not-present channels such as internet, mail and telephone orders and serves a range of industries such as travel, ticketing, telecommunications, retail, publishing, portals, online gaming and digital content.
