Iceland-based multi-brand payment card acquirer Valitor has revealed plans to enter a partnership with UK-based online payments provider White Eagle to roll out prepaid credit cards onto the British market.

As part of the agreement, Valitor will be able to issue cards to both individuals and businesses in the UK. The company has also unveiled its intentions to expand and diversify its UK services.

In addition, the company’s processing platform which is aimed at the Icelandic market has also seen a lot of interest from the British market. Valitor has developed the software in the UK in 2011 in partnership with British organisations and Visa Europe.

Valitor provides its cross-border acquiring services to partners, merchants, banks and cardholders around the world. The company is working in close collaboration with Visa EU and MasterCard.
