Voucher-based prepaid payment services provider Ukash has entered an agreement with ekmPowershop.com, a UK-based e-commerce and email marketing platform.

Under the terms of the partnership, current and new ekmPowershop retailers will be able to accept cash online with Ukash. For a certain fee, ekmPowershop.com also enables individual retailers to open and manage an online store.

Ukash allows people worldwide to use cash electronically and is available at 420,000 retail locations in over 57 countries across 6 continents. The company provides multicurrency capability in 17 transaction currencies and transactional reporting. In recent news, Ukash has inked a contract with multiplayer online game Eve Online to provide players with an alternative in-game payment service.
