Ukash taps into New Zealand market

Friday 25 June 2010 07:17 CET | News

UK voucher-based prepaid online payments provider Ukash has made its alternative payment method available in New Zealand via an agreement recently signed with prepaid products distributor epay.

Under the terms of the deal, Ukash will make its vouchers available to consumers at 200 point of sale terminals across the country. Every Ukash electronic voucher contains a unique 19-digit code which customers can use to initiate payment on websites which accept Ukash as a payment method (on social networks, virtual worlds and online games) without divulging their card details.

Ukash vouchers will be available to users in New Zealand in values of USD 10, USD 20, USD 50, USD 100, USD 200 and USD 500.
