UK voucher-based prepaid online payments provider Ukash has joined forces with epay, the prepaid division of US electronic payment services provider Euronet Worldwide to introduce the Ukash vouchers on the Polish market.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ukash will make its vouchers available at 6,000 physical point of sale terminals operated by epay at independent supermarkets, petrol stations, call shops, drug stories and convenience stores across Poland. The vouchers come in denominations of PLN 20, 25, 100, 200, 500, 750, they can be combined, split or converted. Every Ukash electronic voucher contains a unique 19-digit code which can be used to pay online on websites which accept Ukash as a payment method (on social networks, virtual worlds and online games) without divulging their card details.

Ukash has also introduced its vouchers on the German, Italian, Australian and Spanish markets, in collaboration with epay. With a retail network of approximately 227,000 locations, epay operates on international markets including UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, US, Poland, Romania, Austria, Switzerland and Ireland.
