Online gaming platform Virgin Gaming has inked a contract with Mazooma, an US online debit payment services provider, to allow Virgin Gaming players to use funds directly from their bank accounts for cash-based tournament and game play.

As a result, players across the US will be able to deposit money into their Virgin Gaming account to compete for cash prizes in top EA Sports titles such as Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12 and NHL 12, available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 gaming consoles.

Mazooma is a payment option optimised for e-commerce, which allows consumers to fund a digital wallet or pay for digital goods using their online bank account.

In recent news, Mazooma has entered an agreement with global payment platform Paymentwall to allow the latters users to pay for digital transactions via Mazoomas payment service.
