Accertify, a provider of fraud prevention and transaction risk screening services, has partnered with US-based drugstore chain Walgreens to provide the latter with online fraud tools via its Interceptas platform.

Under the agreement, Accertify will deliver data protection capabilities for Walgreens’ customers in order to prevent various types of online criminal attacks such as fraud related to card-not-present purchases, online scams, policy abuse, merchandise returns and exchanges.

Interceptas is a service for enterprise-wide transaction screening and data management. It is set to reduce risks associated with all the transaction businesses process each day on domestic and international transactions, including web, call center, POS and mobile transactions. Interceptas users can establish business rules to accept, reject or transfer to manual review transactions based on the available information on each transaction.
