WorldPay, UATP to offer airline, travel merchants a new payment choice

Thursday 25 October 2012 15:14 CET | News

Global provider of payment and risk services WorldPay and UATP, a payment network, have entered a partnership to enable airline and travel merchants to access UATP via WorldPay.

The agreement is aimed at airline and travel agency merchants that use the WorldPay gateway as they will now be able to offer UATP as a form of payment. It also provides new and existing UATP customers with access to an integrated payment gateway, with over 200+ alternative payment types.

The integration with UATP and WorldPay supports Airline Level III data, enabling card issuers to provide cardholders with information on the travel purchased. This provides increased reporting for airline and travel merchants via the WorldPay API.

UATP provides an alternative to other card schemes to purchase corporate travel. WorldPay has 75 national and international payment methods and operates in over 40 countries worldwide. In recent news, WorldPay has launched Mobile Payment Pages, a mobile version of Hosted Payment Pages specifically for web-enabled mobile phones and tablet devices.
