As part of the deal, WorldRemit will be able to further extend its service into emerging markets, where mobile money services continue to spread but internet and banking access is limited. With an initial focus on the corridors between Europe and Africa, HomeSend and WorldRemit will work together to build further corridors.
WorldRemit currently offers online money transfer to over 30 countries. In December 2012, WorldRemit has launched its service in New Zealand.
