Monday 5 March 2012 14:42 CET | News

Online payments website Xendpay has released its first money transfer website to enable payments to and from the Czech Republic and Slovakia in local languages.

To enable customers to transfer money using local bank transfers or via debit/credit card with the Xendpay.com platform, the company has entered a collaboration with Czech bank UniCredit.

With almost 16 million residents in these countries, about half a million immigrants and nearly 4 million Czech and Slovakian emigrants worldwide, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are key growth markets.

Xendpay.com is available in most countries, including the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in 45 currencies, including Czech Koruna and EUR and now in 10 languages.

Xendpay allows users to transfer money worldwide by connecting senders to the SWIFT network. Xendpay was developed by RationalFX, a global foreign exchange company.

The newly launched Czech and Slovak versions are authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
