Xoom introduces online money transfer service on South Korean market

Xoom Corporation, a US-based internet-based money transfer company has made its new service available to South Korean customers.

The service enables users to navigate the Xoom website and send money directly to any bank account in South Korea from any internet-enabled computer. Customers can use PayPal, major credit cards, or have funds withdrawn directly from their bank account to fund the money transfer. With the Xoom service, customers can send money to 41 countries around the world, including China, India, Philippines, United Kingdom, South Africa, Mexico and Brazil. Xoom Corporation is backed by venture firms Sequoia Capital, New Enterprise Associates and Fidelity Ventures.
