7-Eleven, Heartland sign seven-year payments processing contract extension

US convenience retail chain operator 7-Eleven has signed a seven-year contract extension with payments processor Heartland Payment Systems.

Under the terms of the deal, Heartland is set to continue authorizing and settling credit and debit card transactions for more than 5,800 7-Eleven-branded convenience stores across the US. 7-Eleven operates, franchises and licenses around 8,000 stores in North America.

Heartland Payment Systems delivers credit, debit and prepaid card processing, payroll, cheque management and payments services over 250,000 US business locations nationwide.
